The SHIVERS brand offers design solutions in the broadly understood area of jewellery, responding to the needs of modern users looking for non-standard projects. SHIVERS blurs the boundaries between art, craft and design. Boldly taking on unconventional, controversial topics, focusing on a refined, rich visual form, while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Each project is hand-made in Poland using traditional jewellery techniques and the highest quality materials. The jewellery is made of 925 silver or 14-karat gold.
SHIVERS is a brand run by Adrianna Kusielczuk, the artist looks for potential in the remains, waste and remnants of society’s production. In her work, they take on a new meaning, go beyond the accepted conventions of understanding jewellery, opposing the accepted aesthetic practices in the context of classic jewellery. The non-obvious forms do not betray their original origins, after spending some time with them one can say that they were once part of the skeleton, the body of a once living being, reminding us of the fragility of life and the interconnectedness of all living beings. “I find objects that were once part of larger structures, objects to which it is difficult to assign their former function. The process of transforming anonymous objects into jewellery is a metaphor for our journey towards recognizing the value of the invisible”.
