Marta Jabłońska, visual artist, designer, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, fourfold rector’s scholarship holder, scholarship holder of the City of Warsaw. She has presented her works at BWA Ostrowiec and Galeria Turnus, among others. Her jewellery is a return to her roots and a continuation of family design traditions. Marta is characterised by her goldsmithing practice based on traditional methods, made by hand in her family workshop in Inowrocław. The process of creating jewelry is a special time when she excludes herself from everyday life for a few days. “I once heard that I think with shapes, and this is indeed the case. I have it that they attach themselves to my thoughts, and during those few days in the workshop I make them real in the form of goldsmithing forms.” Marta’s jewelry is made from recycled silver, gold and natural stones. She takes care of every detail to create universal objects that know no age or gender restrictions.
CARE
To take care of your sterling silver jewelry, polish it frequently with a soft dry cloth to avoid tarnish. Store jewelry in a cool, dry place, keeping individual pieces separate to avoid scratching. Avoid contact with chemicals, perfume, hairspray and deodorant. Remove when showering, swimming or when undertaking manual or domestic work.
