BELEN creator, Karolina Cagara studied goldsmithing and jewelry under the watchful eye of Warsaw masters at the School of Artistic Crafts in Warsaw. Her education was crowned with a state exam confirming her professional qualifications. Previously, she took courses, including basic gemology. In her work, she mainly focuses on pearls, and when working with precious metals, she emphasizes geometric forms that contrast with the organic nature of the pearls. She chooses pearls as a significant result of natural defense mechanisms. Balance and the search for equilibrium are the main goals she pursues in life and in creating her pieces.
CARE
The jewelry is both unique and delicate. It is essential to remember that gemstones, pearls, silver, and gold require special care. Exposure to chemicals, including creams and perfumes, can cause damage. Therefore, remove your jewelry before sleeping, bathing, or engaging in physical activities. Jewelry that is not being worn is best kept in its original box on a velvet cushion.
